United Family Stores to Close on Easter Sunday: A Rare Holiday Closure
Grocery stores affiliated with The United Family banner will remain closed on Sundays for the purpose of observing the Easter holiday.
It will mark the 109th consecutive year that the chain has carried out this tradition.
Retail outlets operating under the banner of The United Family encompass United Supermarkets, Amigos, Market Street, and Albertsons Market, along with their respective Express versions. This retail network spans 54 towns and cities across two states—Texas and New Mexico—with examples being Plainview, Muleshoe, and Canyon.
Regular operations at the store locations will restart on April 21.
