China’s Akai Revenge Against America Due to Export Ban
China’s Akai Revenge Against America Due to Export Ban. China’s revenge against the United States is starting to be apparent due to the impact of China’s export ban, the price of gallium, which is important for semiconductors, is now soaring.
F markets noted that gallium prices jumped 17% to 595 US dollars per kg, this increase is the highest since 2011.
The increase in gallium prices could be a major blow to America after China instructed a ban on exports of several metals to the United States since early December 2024.
China is also an important player in gallium, contributing 98% of global production in 2023.
The gallium market itself in the world is not too large even though gallium is a metal used in semiconductors and advanced technologies such as TV screens and cell phones, solar panels and Radar equipment.
